Introduction

International Green Food Technologies Association (IGFTA) is an international non-profit organization.

The availability of health foods by many consumers can not be disparaged in this era. Both for health and sustainable consideration, green foods keep ringing bells in the ears. Green foods can also be regarded as functional foods, which provide advanced technological properties and health claims. Rapid rate of urbanization and industrialization has turned our planet lopsided in favor of fast foods, food fraud, food waste, food adulteration, food poisoning, food contamination and food injustice, leading to the introduction of green foods, also regarded as environment-friendly products. Green foods are produced under the principle of sustainable development, fine quality, nutrition, health and safety.

The purposes of foundation of IGFTA are

To invite the international top agricultural experts to develop practical technologies for production of the green foods

To invite decent scientists to make criteria for production of the green foods

To certificate the food products as ‘the green foods’ that meet the criteria for production of the green foods

To design and develop novel, digital or AI agricultural machineries and tools to facilitate production of the green foods

To train on growers with practical technologies to product the green foods

To establish the solid and robust platforms to conveniently and efficiently connect the green food producers and the consumers for sustainable development of the green food industry
